So, today I took a trip to my local library. I talked to the children's librarian about some pointers on reading with infants because I really want to instill a love of reading in Addison. So many people just sit their children in front of electronic entertainment. That's fine and good but in moderation.
Well, after my talk with the librarian I set to work on picking out some books. Let me tell you, it's not easy. Here is what she advised:
- Babies like pictures of other babies so pick books with pictures of babies
- Get a story book without words and just point out things on the page like trees, sky, dog, baby, etc
- Get a book with just a few words on each page to keep the baby engaged
- Make sure the book has BRIGHT BOLD colors to attract the baby's attention.
For some reason I think this picture is SO cute...idk.

Addison is sooo cute Jenn! Is taking care of a baby harder then you thought? You have to keep them entertained all the time!
